CAMi Art + Wine — cute art gallery along the main downtown drag that also has wine tasting
Lovina — homey farm to table restaurant started by restauranteurs from Michael Mina, Zazie, Meadowood
Solbar — swanky all-day poolside restaurant at the Auberge featuring upscale but indulgent eats and great cocktails
Brian Arden Wines — chic industrial-farmhouse winery with great chardonnay and fun snacks (tip: ask for Megan, sit outside!)
Petrified Forest — 3.4 myo, the only petrified forest in CA, caused by explosion from nearby volcano, ~1 hr walk

russian river valley, ca

boon eat+drink (Guerneville) — amazing farm-to-table restaurant specializing in organic, CA cuisine (eat in the garden!)
big bottom market (Guerneville) — excellent little shop/cafe for picnic wares, coffee, and Oprah-sanctioned biscuits (one savory one sweet each day)
Armstrong redwoods state natural preserve (Guerneville) — absolutely beautiful and huge redwoods, go at golden hour or for a brisk early morning walk
Gold Coast coffee and & bakery (Duncans Mills) — cute little coffee shop as an excuse to visit historic town of Duncans Mills (their famous drink is way too sweet but the pastries hit the spot)
Cafe Aquatica (Jenner) — one-of-a-kind, quirky little cafe on the edge of the water with live music and the best crab sandwich EVER
Hazel (Occidental) — yummy farm-to-table restaurant with a popular and delicious chicken pot pie
Union Hotel restaurant — simple and delicious Italian food served out of historic hotel from 1879 (one of the oldest continuously operated in CA)
Valley Ford Cheese and Creamery (valley ford) — fun buzzy creamery to stop at if you're in the area, selling a bunch of local foods, cheese, and milkshakes (didn't get to try those tho)

petaluma, ca

Brewsters beer garden + restaurant — expansive + fun + casual beer garden to grab lunch with friends near downtown with great drinks selection (and delicious brisket)
della fattoria — renowned bakery in a 150-year-old building with absolutely killer pastries, a classic to start your day

Paso Robles, ca
